My stay was a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms on the ground floor were surprisingly spacious for two people and remarkably quiet despite being next to a highway, but they had dirty floors with food residue under tables. The service, with coffee/tea facilities, was really friendly and helpful, even late in the evening, though not very welcoming overall. The hotel's location on the outskirts of Amersfoort near motorways was relaxing, with a wide range of amenities such as books, a piano, and a good bar, making it convenient to both the city and major roads. The dining experience in the breakfast buffet was excellent, especially considering the price, offering a continental breakfast that did the job. However, the rooms could have been cleaner and more well-maintained, and the service slightly more welcoming.
